Dollar Tree wins again. The Pizza book has like 5 different pizza doughs with topping ideas and the numbers books are better for me than crossword puzzles.

I decided to move my To Do List

I've been busy in the kitchen but was unable to do much.
I still think the front and inside is priority

I've been working on Maintenances

Still left outside

1. Hang the Address Plaque my mom purchased in 2007

- Glue cushion (washable sewing glue)

2. Take down front awning  

If I hire someone I’ll add the side and back awnings down too 

- Hang paper blinds inside (have ready)

I might just clean them now. The rehab on my house broke the plastic pulls (tassels) and now that I’m doing the back door I broke one of those. (11 replacements ready) The Dish Brush/EnviroCloth is doing a good job on it though. Just time consuming.

3. Leaves (working on all.the.time.)

- Carport

- Patio

- Half the backyard buried 

Storm Damage added (Act of God cut my backyard in half and the leaves have to fall off first. Like "Focus on this much")

4. Remove weeds on hard surfaces (have ready)

I had some Ortho from when I first moved in to finish and got halfway through. That spray is good until Nov.

5. Remove one walkway (this would be the next step instead of repair) Have the bed of soil redone. Unfortunately a lot of rocks put in there by others

6. HVAC service

7. Fall Scott Weed and Seed Grass in the front (have ready)


Tons to do inside still!

Main Purchases (this started as “Black Friday”)

1. New toilet/Kitchen faucet (leading to plumber! Two choices - City Waitlist I’d have to move my things or I do this part myself) 311 cleared

Received Galvanized Pipe information from the city to look up

2. Kitchen Lights and outlets (now I need an electrician… possibly a ballast but they’re not working or my microwave)  

I’m getting an estimate from someone who might do both plus the HVAC

3. Dyson Vacuum 


Goals

1. Budget Bills monthly (made it to October)

2. Check with Weatherization 

3. Check with Lowes to Paint 

Porter was suggested 

4. Reclaim Medicare Benefits 

- but there’s no reason to until I have a Car again

Food/OTC/Glasses/Dentist is not walkable

- I still need Physical Therapy: Run over, kicked in the head, lots of fall downs and hand/wrist.

 I won't be there so don't worry. I lived in Los Angeles when the Olympics were there in 1984 and saw the torch run by in Canoga Park but ended up watching them on TV. I think someone said on one of the videos that it's the home team so I'm still happy!  A "no build- no car" plan I saw on YouTube today. They have 70,000 homeless that they think they'll relocate like Paris did. LAX has changed since 2007! I did an imaginary vacation and would focus on the Artistic Swimming in Long Beach  I would then watch the surfing and skateboarding. Jagger Eaton ! I also was happy to see the Valley was going to be included with BMX in the Sepulveda Basin I liked Tom's entrance and hand off . Cheered him on. I have my T-shirt! I bought it at Family Dollar. I looked up my favorite Olympics in two years - the Winter Olympics are going to be in Italy in 2026. Tickets will be going on sale in February 2025 for the events.
